I've always believed that food is more than just a way to satisfy hunger. There's something special about it. When you cook for yourself or a loved one, you infuse a little of your mood, care, and even love into the dish.
I'll be honest, I'm not the kind of person who can stand at the stove for hours creating culinary masterpieces. But I do enjoy experimenting. Sometimes the result is incredibly delicious, and sometimes you have to laugh at the result and rush to order a pizza. That happens too!
I think cooking together is much more fun. While one person is chopping vegetables, the other is tasting the sauce, and then an argument ensues over how much seasoning to add. In moments like these, even an ordinary dinner turns into a little adventure.
What dish do you cook best? Do you have a signature recipe you're proud of? Or perhaps you prefer to be the chief taster?
I'm always interested in learning little details about people. After all, sometimes a favorite dish can reveal much more about a person than a long questionnaire.
So, admit it: do you love to cook, or do you prefer to have food cooked for you?
