It does not have to be long or poetic or full of big promises. It just has to show that someone actually thought about what they were going to say before they typed it.

I have received thousands of messages on this site, and most of them blur together after a while. The ones that stay with me are the ones that feel like someone put in a little effort. A joke that lands, a question that is not boring, a sentence that makes me think oh, he is paying attention.

I do not think I am asking for too much. I am just tired of feeling like I am the only one trying to start a real conversation.
