Golden age: what's the most exciting age for a child, and why shouldn't you miss it?
id: 10044773

But if you ask experienced parents and child psychologists at what age the most powerful, joyful, and conscious "explosion" of personality occurs, most will point to the same period.

Winner in this category: Ages 3 to 5

This period is known in psychology as the "flourishing age of children's subculture," and popularly as the "why-why" period. These two years are considered the most exciting to spend time together.

Here's why it's absolutely impossible to "sleep through" this age at work or on gadgets:

The birth of humor and imagination. The child begins to joke consciously. They invent incredible stories, create their own worlds, and produce verbal "pearls" that you want to write down.

Conscious love. A baby loves instinctively. A 4-year-old already hugs you consciously - as if you were their best friend and the most important person.

The first profound questions. "Why is the sky blue?", "Where does the sun go?", "What is time?" - a child forces you to look at the world anew.

Story-based games. Games become full-fledged stories: saving planets, healing toys, building castles and entire worlds.

Other favorites: every age has its own magic.

If you've already missed this period or it's still ahead, don't worry. Each age is unique in its own way:

1.5 - 2 years: the time of "first discovery"
The child begins to walk, talk, and explore the world. Everything evokes delight.

7 - 9 years: the birth of an intellectual friend
The child becomes more conscious, with interests, opinions, and the ability to engage in dialogue.

The main secret: how not to miss it

The most interesting age is always the one happening right now.

To avoid missing it, it's important:

30 minutes of "total presence" a day - no phone or distractions.
Record your child's funny sayings.
Create small family traditions.
