I don't think meeting someone is that difficult these days.

Dating sites, social media, messaging, and video calls offer more opportunities than ever.

But then why are so many people single?

Maybe the problem isn't meeting someone, but letting them into your life?

We all have a past: disappointments, mistakes, dashed hopes. We become more cautious, we test people, we doubt, we look for a catch where there may not be one.

Sometimes I think trust has become even more rare than love these days.

And without trust, nothing real can be built.
