I guess it's become a habit, because over the years he's proven himself capable of deciding the outcome of the most important matches, scoring at crucial moments, and leading the team. But I didn't see that today.

The match ended 1-1, and in my opinion, Portugal could and should have achieved a better result. Especially considering the level of expectations for the team and its star. Ronaldo spent a fair amount of time on the pitch, had his chances, but still failed to find the net. And it wasn't just the lack of a goal. I lacked the confidence, energy, and influence on the game that have always been associated with his name.

Some might say that you can't expect one player to constantly save the team. And I agree; football is a team game. But Ronaldo has raised the bar so high that more is always expected of him. When you see him on the pitch, you automatically expect him to lead, to create dangerous moments, to make decisive plays. Today, that wasn't enough.

At the same time, I still respect everything he's achieved in his career. One poor match doesn't negate years of great achievements. But if we're talking about this game specifically, it didn't impress me. I expected a more vibrant performance, more attacking activity, and, of course, at least one goal.

I hope that in future matches, Ronaldo can respond to the criticism with his performances and remind everyone why he's considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. For now, after the 1-1 draw with DR Congo, I'm left with a sense of a missed opportunity and a feeling that the Portuguese leader could have shown much more.
