You have to admit the situation is kind of ridiculous. Sweden beat Tunisia 5-1. Netherlands beat Sweden 5-1 on Saturday. And now Tunisia has to play Netherlands. The math is not my strongest subject but even I can figure out how this might end. 😅

Tunisia is already out of the World Cup. They have nothing left to fight for except pride. But pride does not stop a team that just put five past the team that put five past you💔

It's really sad for them. They came into the tournament undefeated in qualifying and now they are the first African team eliminated. It is the kind of collapse that makes you wonder if the qualifying campaign happened to a different team entirely. The defense that was perfect for ten matches has been sliced open twice in six days. The goalkeeper who kept nine clean sheets has picked the ball out of his net over nine times now😢.

I will still watch their final match against Netherlands. Maybe they will play with nothing to lose and shock everyone. Maybe they will score first and make things interesting. Or maybe they will lose again and I will just sit there thinking about how quickly certainty can turn into doubt. I am not making fun of them. I actually hope they pull off something crazy. But I am not holding my breath.
