🙏🩷love and god—two forces that change a person.

Perhaps because true love doesn't begin with a person.

God is Love. These are not just beautiful words. It is a reminder that the source of love lies above our emotions, expectations, and fears. When a person tries to fill their soul solely with another person, they inevitably face disappointment. None of us are perfect. We make mistakes, we get tired, we hurt each other, and we ourselves need love.

But God loves differently.

He doesn't need us to earn His love. He doesn't stop loving us after our mistakes. He doesn't turn away in difficult times. His love is not dependent on appearance, age, success, or past. It remains unchanging.

This is precisely why a person who knows God's love begins to love others differently. They stop demanding perfection. They learn to forgive. They learn to appreciate. They learn to be there not only when things are good, but also when things are especially difficult.

Love isn't just about romance. It's a daily choice. Sometimes it's choosing to remain silent instead of arguing. Sometimes it's choosing to support when things are difficult for you. Sometimes it's choosing to let go, entrusting the situation to God.

We often pray for God to change the other person. But miraculously, He begins to change us. Our hearts become softer, calmer, wiser. And then the relationship begins to change, too.

True love isn't born out of fear of loss. It's born out of trust. Trust in God, who knows what each of us truly needs.

If your heart is tired today, if you've experienced betrayal, loneliness, or loss, don't think love is over. As long as God is there, hope lives. It has the power to heal even the deepest wounds and bestow a peace that cannot be explained in words.

Perhaps the most important discovery in life is that love is not something we seek. Love is the One who found us in the first place.
