Girls come to me - sometimes very young, sometimes grown-ups - and the first thing they ask is: "Do I look good here? Can you see my stomach? Can I get another shot with better cheekbones?" πŸ˜”

And I understand them, really. I've been like that myself. But behind these questions, I increasingly see something else - anxiety, insecurity, a constant comparison of myself to filters and others.

But my most beautiful shots don't happen when a person "poses perfectly." They happen when a girl FORGETs about the camera. Laughs at her own joke. Squints in the sun. Adjusts her hair automatically, not for the sake of the shot. πŸŒ…

In moments like these, you can see the REAL. Character. Warmth. Life in the eyes.

Sometimes I'm saddened by how much energy is spent on "getting the right angle"—and how little is spent on simply being yourself. Appearances change, after all. But who a person is inside—sincere, kind, with a sense of humor, or a deep gaze—that remains, and that's what truly attracts. πŸ’›

I decided long ago: a beautiful photo isn't about a perfect oval face. It's about the moment when a person is genuine.
