For some reason, many people are convinced that if a girl is beautiful, she's sure to be surrounded by dozens of men, have a perfect personal life, and be endlessly happy.

Honestly, I always found it a little funny to hear that.

Beauty doesn't guarantee love.

Sometimes men are simply afraid to make the first move. They think the girl is already with someone or that they don't have a chance.

Sometimes you find people who are only interested in your appearance. They don't want to know what you love, what you dream about, or what you're afraid of. They see a pretty picture, but not a person.

But every woman wants very simple things.

To be listened to.

To be asked how her day was.

To have someone by your side with whom you can laugh, be silent, argue, make plans, and feel at peace.

True loneliness has nothing to do with appearance. You can be incredibly beautiful and feel incredibly lonely. Or you can meet that one person who's right for you—and the whole world will instantly become warmer.

Perhaps that's why I still believe that the most valuable thing in a relationship isn't a perfect appearance, but the desire to truly get to know a person.

After all, sometimes the most extraordinary stories begin with an ordinary conversation.
