Officially, Ukraine hasn't changed its climate zone. Most of the country remains in the temperate continental zone. The planet's geographic boundaries haven't shifted, but the climate itself within our zone is undergoing a powerful transformation. Scientists call this process a northward shift of climatic seasons and zones.

According to environmentalists, the conventional boundary of the subtropical warm zone has advanced approximately 140 kilometers northward in Ukraine.

Key signs of change:

The disappearance of winter: the classic winter period with persistent frosts has shortened by almost a month.
Tropical nights: summer temperatures at night increasingly do not drop below +20°C.
Weather fluctuations: droughts abruptly give way to devastating downpours and hail.
