I have always loved places where the world suddenly becomes quiet. Somewhere high enough to see endless hills, little roads disappearing into the distance, and a sky that seems much bigger than usual. Standing there, it's impossible not to slow down for a moment and simply breathe.
People often think beautiful places automatically make us happy. They certainly make me smile, but they also remind me of something else. The best memories are rarely about the view itself. They're about the person who was standing next to you when you looked at it.
I can imagine spending hours in a place like this without getting bored. Talking about childhood memories, making silly jokes, guessing where those tiny roads lead, or simply enjoying the silence together. I don't believe every moment has to be filled with words. Sometimes feeling comfortable beside someone is already enough.
As I was looking across these mountains, I caught myself wondering how different this day would have felt if I had someone special to share it with. Maybe we'd take too many photos together, maybe we'd argue about which direction to explore next, or maybe we'd just sit with a cup of coffee and watch the sun slowly change the colors of the landscape.
Life gives us many beautiful moments, but I still believe they become even more meaningful when they're shared. Perhaps one day I'll return to a place like this, and instead of taking a selfie, I'll be asking someone, "Can you take a picture of us?"
Until then, I'll keep collecting little moments that remind me why I'm still hopeful about finding the right person.
