The difference between someone who wants you and someone who values you
id: 10055855
Someone who wants you will reach for you when they need you. They will show up when it is convenient. They will tell you what you want to hear when they are afraid of losing you. They will make you feel desired, but only on their terms.

Someone who values you shows up even when it is not easy. They consider your feelings before they act. They do not keep score. They listen to understand, not just to reply. They make you feel seen, heard, and safe.

Want is about what you can do for someone. Value is about who you are to someone. Want is conditional. Value is not.

A man who wants you will text you late at night when he is lonely. A man who values you will text you in the morning because you are the first thing on his mind.

A man who wants you will show up for a good time. A man who values you will show up for a hard time too.
A man who wants you will say he cares. A man who values you will show you he cares.

I have spent too much time trying to convince myself that wanting was enough. But I am done with that. I want a man who values me. Not just when I am easy to love, but when I am not.

Do you know the difference now?

Thank you for reading!
