Whenever I have a chance, I find myself coming back to the ocean.
Not because I want to swim.
Not because I need another beautiful photo.
Simply because the ocean has a strange way of making everything inside my head become quieter.
I love walking barefoot where the waves meet the sand. Every wave reaches my feet for just a second before disappearing again, and somehow I never get tired of watching that simple rhythm. It reminds me that life is always moving forward, even when we feel like we're standing still.
Sometimes I catch myself smiling for no particular reason. Maybe it's the salty air, maybe it's the sound of the waves, or maybe it's because places like this make me realize how many beautiful moments are still waiting ahead.
One thing I've learned over the years is that happiness doesn't always come from extraordinary events. Sometimes it's hiding inside an ordinary afternoon, a long walk, warm sunshine on your shoulders, and the freedom to simply enjoy where you are.
Of course... I also know that some moments are even better when they're shared. ❤️
I often imagine walking along the shore with someone I love. No rush, no phones in our hands, no complicated plans. Just talking about life, stopping every now and then because one of us spotted a beautiful shell, laughing when a wave reaches us higher than expected, and pretending we weren't surprised at all. 😊
Those are the memories I dream about creating one day. Not perfect memories... just real ones.
Until then, I'll keep collecting little moments like this, because I truly believe they have a way of leading us exactly where we're meant to be.
And maybe... one day, instead of leaving only my footprints in the sand, there will be two sets walking side by side. 🤍
