How to keep your makeup looking fresh in the summer heat ☀️💄

Every summer I've experienced the same annoying problem: as soon as I step outside 🥵, my favorite foundation starts to literally "run," my face gets an unpleasant shine, and my mascara leaves dark marks under my eyes. Previously, I tried to correct all this with layers of powder, but it only created a "layered cake" effect. This season, I decided to completely change my entire approach to my everyday makeup and summer skincare routine! ☀️☀️☀️

The most important tip I've tested on myself is to avoid thick and heavy textures altogether. I've completely stashed heavy foundations away in my closet and switched to weightless, lightweight BB fluids with high SPF that are barely noticeable on the skin. Instead of pressed powder blush, I now use only cream and liquid blushes; they give an incredibly natural, dewy, and fresh glow, as if you've just returned from a smoothie bar or a stroll along the seashore 🌊

And another essential secret that saves me throughout the day: blotting papers and a small bottle of thermal or rose water in my purse wherever I go! When I need a quick refresher mid-day on the run, a couple of light sprays of thermal water and my skin instantly breathes again, looking clean and rested. In summer, natural, well-groomed skin, radiant from within, looks much more beautiful and attractive than perfect, but "heavy" makeup masks. 🌸
