Tell me about yourself—can we get real right away?
id: 10057519

But sometimes I want the opposite.

Not "what's your favorite movie?" but:

— Do you even want a family?
— What does cheating mean to you?
— Do you know how to apologize?
— How do you know if someone is truly dear to you?
— What's more important to you: freedom or stability?

And no, this isn't a job interview. 😄

Why waste a week exchanging personal details if we both understand we're not getting to know each other just to fill out a crossword puzzle?

I think serious questions in the first messages sometimes even bring people closer together faster. Because they immediately reveal the person, not their resume.

And the most interesting thing is, you don't necessarily have to have the same answers.

I may think differently. You may think differently. We can argue and still continue the conversation.

For me, a good conversation is one that leaves me wanting to write more.

So if a man asks me something really important in the first few messages, I'd be more likely to be happy than scared.

Although the question "Where do you see yourself in five years?" is probably best left to the HR department. 😂
