The Prius is wonderful. It's fuel-efficient, comfortable, eco-friendly, and practical. I understand its owners. In fact, deep down, I even respect their rationality.

But I could never drive one myself.

And it's not even about the brand.

I like it when a car feels a little like its owner. When you get behind the wheel and enjoy more than just getting from point A to point B.

I like the sound of the engine. I like the feel of the car on the road. I like to sometimes press the pedal just because I can. 😄

Perhaps there's too much of that completely impractical girl in me, who might choose a dress not because it's more comfortable, but because it's pretty.

I generally believe that not everything in life should be rational.

You can buy a huge bouquet, even though it'll wilt in a week.

You can order dessert after a big dinner.

You can go away for a weekend, hundreds of kilometers away, just to see a beautiful place.

And you can drive the car you like, even if someone says, "But there are more economical options."

I'm all for reasonable savings, of course.

But sometimes you just want to turn the key, hear the engine, and think, "Yes. Now I'm in the mood." ❤️

So, dear Prius owners, please don't be offended.

We just have different philosophies of life. 😂
