In fact, I've noticed something strange about myself: I often skimp on things, but I don't spend any money on experiences. I can spend a long time deciding whether I need a new sweater, but then buy train tickets and go to another city for the weekend almost spontaneously.

Probably because things just sit around the house, and good memories then suddenly resurface a few years later.

Sometimes I think that financially sensible people probably look at me with horror.

But I'm sure of one thing: if my life were to end one day, I definitely don't want to remember how much money I saved on coffee. 😄
