I am not sure what is meant by mercantile.
Does this refer to the lady's natural inclination to shop? To dress up? To want to be beautiful?
I have read this blog a few times. All I can say is that I would have taken Anechka to a fine restaurant, and she would have gotten flowers also!
I appreciate the time and effort it takes for you girls to prepare for a date. I am very fond of being nicely dressed, and taking an elegant lady out in public. I want to be seen with you. You are my charm!
But I also like to see you in the morning, sleepy eyed, disheveled and without coffee!
I like to see you in your robe, brushing your teeth!
I want to see all of you!
As for the men on this site, many are delusional, and buy into the magical idea that some young, beautiful, large breasted 20 year old nymphomaniac awaits to fill their every sexual desire, and to command their every move. And these are the guys who have no more common decency than to display pictures of themselves in their gravy stained tee shirts and ball caps! Some do not bother to wear shirts at all!
Marina, look for an educated man, someone who has some concept of etiquette and
manners. If the man is not willing to put in the same kind of effort to appear somewhat fashionable and dignified, move along.
I sense your anger, but all men are not like this. The ones you seek are rare. Unfortunately, the type of woman I seek is rare also. I am blessed to have found her here.
Don't settle, and don't become frustrated. "The Bell Curve" teaches us that most people are average. We are also taught that 50% percent of all graduates graduate in the bottom half of their class. That would apply to life's class as well.
I hope I got this right. I was unsure of what "mercantile" meant. I have used this word many times, but not in this context. Perhaps it is a mis-translation.
God bless you, Marina! Be gracious to those who don't understand your worth.
