A man sees a beautiful woman, he really likes her, but instead of getting to know her, he starts looking for reasons why he shouldn't.
"She's probably looking for someone else."
"She's surrounded by admirers."
"What could she possibly like about me?"
"I'm probably not her type."
And that's it. The man has rejected himself before the woman even had a chance to say anything. 🙂
But the most interesting thing is that we're completely incapable of reading other people's minds.
Perhaps this woman has just noticed him. Maybe she likes quiet and modest men. Maybe she's tired of confident, handsome men who are used to getting attention simply for their looks.
Or maybe she's also sitting there thinking, "It's a shame he doesn't have the courage to approach her."
I think men sometimes judge themselves too much in the eyes of others.
Although women choose far more than just looks, money, or incredible confidence.
Sometimes it's the voice that catches your attention. The look. A calm expression. The way they speak. A sense of humor. Even a slightly embarrassed smile can be much more attractive than a perfectly self-assured demeanor.
And how did it all end? 😉
