I absolutely don't think a man has to be athletic.
I don't need someone who lives in the gym, counts every gram of protein, and spends more time in front of the mirror than I do. 😂
Of course, if a man loves sports, that's great. I even like it when a man is passionate about something and takes care of himself. But I don't understand why this has become some kind of mandatory element of male attractiveness.
But I'm stricter with myself.
I think it's important for a woman to maintain physical strength. Not for the sake of having a perfect body for photos, but for the feeling that you can take care of yourself.
Lifting a heavy suitcase. Walking a long way. Driving somewhere with a backpack. Not getting tired after climbing ten steps. Feeling strong and alive in your body.
For me, there's a real feminine strength in this.
And it doesn't stop me from being gentle.
On the contrary.
I like the combination: a woman can look fragile, wear a dress, love flowers, and at the same time calmly carry her suitcase up to the third floor.
And yet, I still want a man by my side who will sometimes say, "Let me do it."
Not because a woman isn't capable of it herself.
But because it's nice to let someone take care of you. ❤️
I guess I'm generally in favor of sports not being an obligation to look a certain way, but a way to feel, "Wow, it turns out I'm pretty strong."
