❤️🌿the philosophy of knowing how to love ❤️🌿
id: 10057941
Love is not only butterflies and romantic evenings. It is also patience when the other person has a difficult day, attention when they need to be heard, and respect when their opinion is different from ours. Real closeness begins when we stop asking only, “What can this person give me?” and start asking, “What can I give to this person?”
Knowing how to love also means allowing another person to remain themselves. ❤️ We can share dreams, build a home, travel together, and plan the future without trying to change someone's personality. Love should create space for two people to grow, not a cage where one person has to become someone else.
There is another beautiful paradox: sometimes loving means being brave enough to be vulnerable. We cannot truly become close to someone while constantly hiding our feelings behind pride or fear. To say “I miss you,” “I appreciate you,” or “You matter to me” requires courage. 💌
Perhaps love is not about finding a perfect person. Perhaps it is about learning to see an imperfect person with open eyes and still choosing tenderness, honesty, and connection.
Because falling in love can happen in a moment. Knowing how to love is something we learn throughout our lives. 🌹
And maybe that is what makes love one of life's most beautiful lessons. 💫
