October is here and I could not be happier. It is my favourite month and I will tell you why.

First, the weather finally changes. The air gets cooler and the leaves start to turn. There is something about the golden light in October that makes everything look softer. Even the sunsets hit different.

Second, it is the month of cosy. Sweaters come out. Hot drinks taste better. Candles get lit earlier in the evening. It is the season of staying in and getting closer to someone.

Third, there are so many things to celebrate. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which matters to so many of us. It is also Halloween at the end of the month. I love the idea of dressing up and being someone else for a night. And in some places, October brings harvest festivals and Oktoberfest celebrations.

Most importantly, my birthday haha! I hope I'm not being biased😉

If I had someone special this October, I would want to spend it walking through fallen leaves, drinking hot chocolate, and staying warm under the same blanket. Maybe one day.
