love people with whom you can not only talk about life but actually *live* it. Stopping in an unfamiliar town for a beautiful view, finding a cozy café, arguing over what music to play next, laughing at random little things, and talking until you realize it’s pitch dark outside. And if we end up somewhere beautiful in the evening—with lights twinkling and music playing—why not dance, even if neither of us is an expert?

Of course, I’m not suggesting we recklessly abandon all our responsibilities. But sometimes, it’s nice to allow yourself a little spontaneity and get to know someone not just through messages, but by seeing what they’re like in real life.
