The movie i rewatch when everything is falling apart
id: 10055700

I first saw it when I was about twenty. I thought it was boring. Just a story about three girlfriends, love, and a factory job. Where was the action? Where was the drama? I didn't get it back then.

Then I turned thirty. I watched it again. And I cried. Not because it was sad, but because I recognized myself in it. In Katerina—a woman raising a child alone, working, refusing to give up, and still believing that happiness is possible. She doesn't whine. She doesn't complain. She just lives. She gets on with things. And one day, she meets "the one."

This movie isn't about a woman waiting for Prince Charming. It’s about being true to yourself. Then the prince finds *you*. And it’s true. I’ve tested it.

There’s also a line I repeat to myself when things go wrong: "Life begins at forty." I’m thirty-two. But I already believe it. Because every year gets more interesting. Not easier—just more interesting. I understand more. I’m less afraid. I know better what I want.

I put the movie on, sit down with a cup of tea, and watch. And I realize: it will all happen. Not right away. Not exactly the way I planned. But it will happen. Because I’m alive. Because I’m moving forward. Because I’m not the only one—there are millions of women who watch this movie and believe, too.

Is there a movie that brings *you* back to life? Please share—what if I haven't seen it yet?
