I once had a date with a man I really liked. And, of course, I wanted everything to be PERFECT.

I spent an hour choosing a dress, another half hour fighting with my wild curls, and finally put on a pair of gorgeous high heels.

I looked in the mirror and thought, “Diana, tonight you're going to break his heart!” 😏❤️

And then came my grand entrance…

I spotted him waiting for me outside the restaurant. He smiled. I smiled back. I decided to walk toward him like a supermodel.

One step. Two steps.

And then my heel got stuck between two paving stones.

**BOOM!** 💥

My handbag flew one way, my dignity went another, and I ended up sitting on the pavement like a very confused princess! 😂

The worst part?

He rushed over, looking genuinely worried, and asked, “Are you okay?”

And do you know what I said?

**“Yes! I just wanted to see you from a different angle!”** 🤦‍♀️🤣

Thankfully, he started laughing. Then I started laughing too.

He helped me up, picked up my handbag and told me that he'd never had such an unforgettable first date.

And you know what? That embarrassing moment taught me something.

A man who can laugh WITH you instead of AT you is worth far more than a man who only admires your perfect photographs.

These days, I don't dream about being a flawless woman.

I dream about finding a man who will catch me when I stumble… or at least help me up and kiss me afterward! 😘❤️
