At forty, I realized that life had no intention of sticking to my plans.
And now I’m fifty… and you know what? 😂
I still sometimes open the fridge and completely forget why I went there!
I might buy a beautiful dress for no reason at all, only to spend the whole evening at home in my favorite pajamas.
I might spend ages looking for my glasses, only to realize they’ve been sitting on my head the entire time! 🤦♀️
And the best part is—I no longer consider any of this a catastrophe.
I used to want to control everything: my plans, my time, my appearance—even what other people thought of me.
Now, more and more often, I choose to just laugh about it.
With age, I’ve come to realize that the ability to laugh at yourself is a true talent. ❤️
I’m drawn to people who aren’t afraid to look a little silly.
A man might be very serious, successful, and intelligent—but if he knows how to make a woman laugh on a bad day, that, to me, is a special kind of charm. 😉
And honestly, I have no desire to be perfect.
I want to be vibrant, interesting, sometimes funny, occasionally stubborn—but always authentic.
Because life is simply too short to spend it constantly trying to make the "right" impression on everyone. Can you laugh at yourself?
