Do you think it’s true that the weather can actually cause headaches or trigger migraines? I’ve been looking into this topic recently, so this might be useful for anyone else dealing with the same issue.😶🌫️
Atmospheric pressure is the force with which the air presses down on surfaces including our own bodies.
Weather sensitivity is a real thing, and the link is most clearly established in people who suffer from migraines. I know that sudden changes in atmospheric pressure, temperature, or humidity can trigger migraines in some individuals. It’s likely that the weather affects a sensitive nervous system.
Of course, lack of sleep and stress play a role, too. So, if you haven’t been sleeping well and the weather outside is bad, it’s no wonder you have a headache.
Interestingly, the best remedy isn't necessarily a pill it’s coffee. A single small cup of espresso can help reduce the pain (though obviously not in the evening!). In the evening, pure dark chocolate can be a good alternative; it can help ease the pain or even make it go away entirely.☕️🍫
Does anyone else have any methods for dealing with migraines or headaches?
I wonder is anyone actually reading my blog?
