Why do we need scary stories and why do we love mysticism so much? 🖤🕸🖤

The theme of Halloween and anything related to mysticism has always evoked mixed reactions in people. But if you look at this tradition a little deeper than just a masquerade, some very interesting things emerge 👻. Throughout human history, all cultures have had rituals associated with the dark period of the year, tales of monsters, and the otherworldly world 👻.

In our daily lives, we constantly try to control absolutely everything. We suppress anxiety, put on a brave face at work, and try to appear confident and strong. However, the internal tension doesn't go away 🖤. By immersing ourselves in the Halloween atmosphere, whether it's watching a dark movie, reading a gothic novel, or attending a themed party, we get a safe way to connect with our fears.

It acts as a natural emotional release valve. When we look at fictional ghosts or monsters, our brain understands that there's no real threat, but emotions can be released. It's a kind of mental release. We allow ourselves to be imperfect, tease our own phobias a little, and ultimately regain a sense of control over our lives ✨.
