So, today, I decided to sabotage my own sense of organization. I brewed some coffee, opened the window, and just sat there, watching the people go by. A man walked past carrying a huge bouquet, a little girl tugged along a reluctant dog, and a woman was talking on the phone with such intensity—as if the fate of the world rested on her conversation.
And you know what? I enjoyed being nothing more than a spectator in someone else’s little life. No obligations, no rushing, no need to fix anything.
I think that sometimes, what we need isn’t more free time, but rather permission to do absolutely nothing. Today, I gave myself that permission. And so far, I have no regrets. ☕🤎
