When the body says "stop": my 3 years of ignoring the signals 🩺🩹
id: 10059017

A woman’s body is an incredibly precise lie detector 🎯. Yet, we have become masters at ignoring it. A headache? We take a pill 💊. Feeling tired in the morning? We have another cup of strong coffee ☕. Anxiety? We drown it out with work or by endlessly scrolling through our news feeds 📲.

I lived this way for nearly three years. I took pride in my endurance and how much I managed to get done—until my body simply refused to cooperate any longer 🚨. One day, I found myself unable to get out of bed—not out of laziness, but because I had absolutely no physical energy left.

It was a desperate act of self-preservation by my nervous system 🛑. I had to embark on a long journey—from restoring my sleep patterns to completely re-evaluating my work deadlines and personal boundaries.

Now, I’ve learned to respond to the very first signals: if I’m in pain, I rest; if I’m tired, I set my tasks aside. Our bodies are always on our side; all we need to do is learn to listen to them *before* they start screaming 🤍.
