Today I want to chat about a super classic question: dating vs marriage. Which one do I lean toward more?

Dating is like eating a bowl of sweet strawberry ice cream 🍓. It’s full of surprises. You go on sunset walks together, share funny little stories, send each other silly stickers, and every meeting feels exciting. You only get to see the shiny, lovely side of each other. There’s less pressure, just pure joy and heartbeat moments. You can enjoy romance without worrying too much about housework, bills or daily trivial things.

But marriage is like a warm cup of hot milk before bed 🥛. It’s not always fancy or thrilling. It means you stay with someone through ordinary days. You cook meals together, clean the room, comfort each other when you are tired, and face troubles side by side. Romance hides in tiny daily moments, not only in dates and gifts. It needs trust, patience and lots of compromise.

If I have to choose, I don’t think one is totally better than the other 🤍. I love the spark of dating, but I also long for the quiet sense of security in marriage. Dating is the beautiful start, while marriage is the gentle long journey. Perfectly, good marriage should still keep a little romance from dating!
