Sometimes, when I imagine the long-awaited meeting with the man I’ve been talking to for so long, I find myself getting a bit lost in my thoughts, especially when I think about our first night together.
I wonder what it will be like to finally be alone, with no screens, no messages, and no thousands of kilometers between us. Will we look into each other’s eyes and suddenly feel shy? Will we laugh nervously, unsure of what to do first kiss, embrace, or simply reach out and hold hands?
I feel like that first touch might just be the most thrilling moment of all. His hand, gently brushing against mine, his arms around me and that strange yet wonderful realization that the person I’ve been dreaming of is finally here, for real.
And what about intimacy? Will we feel completely at ease with each other, or will there be a touch of awkwardness at first? After all, flirting through messages is one thing, but standing face-to-face, feeling the other person’s breath and the beat of their heart is something else entirely.
Perhaps a little shyness is actually quite sweet. It shows that this moment matters to us and that we want everything to be special. I wouldn’t want our first night to feel planned or expected. I’d love for it to unfold naturally, filled with tenderness, laughter, and kisses, without any pressure at all.
Tell me honestly: do you think that first intimate encounter after a long-distance relationship can be truly magical, or can people get so overwhelmed that they simply forget how to act? And if I were standing right in front of you, looking into your eyes, would you take the first step, or would you wait for me to overcome my shyness?
Also, what if you don’t enjoy this first time together? Would that make you consider just breaking things off with me?
