This morning, I decisively removed all the artificial cobwebs from the bookshelves and carefully folded the paper bats into a box. The room suddenly felt strangely empty and sterile. Just yesterday, orange garlands glowed here, smelling of cinnamon and pumpkin pie, and today, it's just ordinary everyday life.

Cleaning up the holiday decor is always a little sad 🎃. It seems obvious, what with all that tinsel and plastic skulls. Just the paraphernalia of one evening, but so much heart was poured into them during the hanging process. It felt like the house had temporarily transformed into the set of a favorite TV series.

Now the shelves are filled with the usual cups, flowers, and photographs 🍁. But there's room for something new. It's time to get out the warm yellow string lights, because November outside calls for maximum insulation and hot tea ☕️✨.
