I couldn't stay aside after reading provoking post of Catbox.N
First of all, Michael, I want to say that I respect your opinion, even if I don't agree with everything you wrote. Just as you have noted right: "I could be wrong, after all I have been wrong before"...
But you know, in what we are 100% the same?! Is that we both don't like this holiday of all Beloved. Surely, if I was happy and lucky to spend it with my second half, I would have quite opposite idea about this day. My reason is that it makes lonely people feel even lonelier. Surely I am glad for all united hearts, but on this day I just even don't want to pork my nose outside... not to see all this "love outrage" with flowers, teddy bears, valentine cards and etc... no no I am not envious person, let they be happy... just it feels so empty and sad on soul, that I have no one beside to share so called by me "love outrage". I am not material person and the case isn't in getting presents.. "A" - Attention! Is what every person wants and needs to feel cared, needed and not forgotten... Just because Day of all Beloved makes lonely people feel lonelier, maybe that is the reason why some women take offence at men, when they keep silent on this day.. Yes, it sounds silly when person, who never wrote you before or sent few notes makes you feel guilty for not congratulating her, but what if you have been communicating for long and it all develops on romantic note, but you haven't gotten even a lil few words: "Honey, I am thinking of you on this day!"? And believe me, true spring flowers would start to bloom in every lonely soul!
Heh, that reminded me one anecdote: Pick-up master tip of 80 level - to argue with her in few days before St. Valentine's day to avoid congratulating her :D
Ok, enough of this theme ))
They say that chemistry presented Blondies the world, but I will add - Photoshop presented endless Beauties the world! ))) hey also be careful with makeup)) It can be as good as Photoshop )) And you never know what is hidden under it, until you wake up in one bed ))) ok, kidding )))
Yeah, all have own criterias of beauty, have read somewhere that we all consider people sympathetic, when they have more than less symmetrical facial features... who knows, maybe it's true..
What about age theme, I think some 60+ old men on site may disagree, and can even teach younger generation how to have REAL FUN! ))) I mean we are that age on which we feel ourselves and 60+ y.o. people can have active life of 30+ y.o. people ))
And the hardest part - children.. I will not comment much because it seems like the roots go back far in childhood.. Just wonder, when you were lil kid, have you ever dreamed to have person in your life, whom you could call father, who would be your best friend?
And another question, why don't you think that man, ALSO may love this tiny lil baby, who is his procreation and immortality, who has his eyes and smile? And why do you think that man, being Father, will not choose life of his baby over the woman or himself even? (correction - being LOVING father)
True love has no boundaries! If man feels not as loved and cared after appearing of baby in family, as before, surely there is some fault of woman, because in spite of maternal instict, sleepless nights and afterbirth depression, she shouldn't forget about her Beloved and devote herself and her body ;) to him also... and hey, men, don't be too egoistic, not vainly Mother Nature gave women 2 "milk-producing" farms.. One for child, another - for you))
We say here: "The devil isn't as horrible as it has been painted".. Afterall if babies were such big evil, most likely whole humanity would die at the dawn of its inception...
Michael, please, don't take offence at me, I am not perfect person as many of us, and I can be wrong... it's just my own opinion.
Thank you all for reading!
