News about cheating always shock , doesn't matter if you just started relations or you are together for many years . For us to stay calm we have to be absolutely sure in our partner . We expect to recieve love and care from our beloved . And when person who we trusted breaks our hopes all world turns into enemy . Now it's hareder to trust other people , open your soul and feel comfortable .
It's extremly hard to forgive your partner who cheated you . If it's better for you not to forgive now - you shouldn't fight with yourself . It's not the decision of problem but in future it will make only worse if you try just to forget about it .
First of all I think you need to ask about reason why your second half made this . Maybe love passed and there is nothing to fight for anymore .

As for me cheating is the only one thing I would never forgive . It can be very hard and painful at begining but you can get more pain in future if you close eyes on this .
