♥♥♥ Next week we celebrate Orthodox Easter in Ukraine! ♥♥♥

It is a religious holiday, but not all people celebrate it because of their religion. Some people are atheists, and they just follow traditions of their families. I think that is very nice and smart!

Ukrainian kids don't have Easter egg hunting. They have other traditions. For example, they boil eggs in different pots: pots with onion, green leaves and beetrots. At the end of the process they get orange, green and red boiled eggs. Kids and adults take these eggs and make egg battle with each other.

How to play Easter egg battle?♥ You take boiled egg and try to crash the egg of your competitor! If you win, you keep on battling with others. That's so cute, I would like to have egg battle with my future husband one day... It can be a very romantic game at the picnic... And maybe I can dye eggs with him the day before. I think that such traditions make people feel like real family, even if they are not married yet.
