Many women and men on this site are looking for love overseas. Some of them can be a perfect match to each other according to their character features, common desires, plans and values. As for me, there are two main troubles for relationships with a foreigner: different mentality and no ability to speak a foreign language.

Of course, a man has no interest to learn some Russian or Ukrainian, because he knows one thing: his woman will move to his place. She will need to learn English. But as for me, a man should understand some Russian and Ukrainian words to show his respect and interest to his Slavic girlfriend. At least her relatives will appreciate his efforts to learn their native language!)

I totally agree with the opinion that English language is a key to happy relationships. Why? A foreign man can trust a woman who speaks foreign language. A man can take her anywhere and he won't worry about her communication with new friends!

That's why every Slavic woman who is registered here should know at least basic phrases, something like "Hello, nice to meet you", "How are you doing?", "Can you help me, please?", "It is beautiful!"

For the beginning of communication it can be a huge step for the future relationships. I am sure that if a woman comes to the USA/the UK/Australia/Germany/France/Netherlands/Brazil - whatever - she will learn the language very fast! Why it is easy for our ladies? We were born bilingual. So since the very childhood we speak two languages: Russian and Ukrainian.

It means that Ukranian woman can get used to one more language easily. She just needs to practice and try!))

So, my recommendations for happy marriage are: learning languages, reading more about foreign culture, traveling a lot and strong desire to love!
