Very interesting but very old type of wrong thinking! You see We are all 100% ourselves! Yes, we come complete! Of course, sadly some of us are 'messed up' all of the time and others are 'messed up' some of the time. Still we are all complete and whole, 100 %! And Thankfully, there are cures and help for all of us. Sometimes, someone who is alright falls in love with someone who needs a little help and it works. Maybe they are "kindred spirits", and really alike in so many ways. I love this combination so much because It can work so well. They know who they are and what they are and that they have room and desire to grow into each other, so they do. They become the happiest couple and well deserved, but it's always a 'work in progress' as all relationships are. Believe this, if you believe nothing else that anyone says here" ALL relationships require daily work, daily thought, and constant care to maintain their life." It cannot be otherwise! But take heart, most of the time that work is spent in care of your chosen other and is so enjoyable simply because you are doing something For him/her. It's like a gift, realize this and be happy with it. I can't really find myself believing I was 'made for' someone else specific. I was made, educated and grew into who I am through conscious, actual development. If I can 'fit' with someone else, it's Great! But it's only a beginning.... Now we have to develop as a couple)))! It's so exciting, heart warming, heart breaking, and damned hard to do at times! Other times, it's easy and everything just clicks into place, and it becomes this way as we develop and grow. We learn how to perceive the other we have chosen, then we learn how to do it right, or everything can fail and fall at our feet, along with our hearts(. I tend to love everyone, then I'll fall in Love with my chosen one, only as my Love for her grows. The more I respect and love her for who she is, the more deeply I fall in love with her and then...I'm either lost or found... depending on whether the feelings I exhibit are mutual),... or (not. When you reach a point that you feel you cannot live without her/him, you can still exist and in time, heal. That's the way we're made.... Thanks be to God, Our Father. He knew what He was doing! I know you may feel that you are lost and will never love again, but believe me, you will. You can feel like you're dying inside and some little snip of a girl will come by and smile at you and your whole world changes again. We all know that Life without Love is only existence, so to be all you can be, you need to Live in Love! Then you'll realize your Happiness, which we were made for, but created ourselves with another. So, 'second halves'? I don't think so. Kindred spirits, Yes, I agree. Whatever we get, have, gain, we can take part credit for, simply because we worked for it,... Or because we had already become what someone else needed and we fit! It's such a great world, full of great people and all have possibilities. Try to be happy and look for your kindred spirit. I'm sure there is one, at least, for everyone and more are developing every day. Just try to love everyone, notice, but forgive their faults maybe they'll follow your example and love you.......
