Russians and Americans have a common illusion - they think they deserve universal love.

Hello my dear blog readers. Do you agree with me that most of life we live in illusions and dreams about people who are interesting to us in this period, about goals that are in most cases are utopian, about things, traveling, career, fame, power? Everyone warders about his own... In general, everyone dreams of an ideal and beautiful life near the object of adoration. Only there is one big BUT, a great weight of thoughts is illusions and an overestimated assessment of the situation, people and yourself in particular. People love to be fooled so much that they are willing to spend most of their lives on it. Just think if you have enough fingers on your hand to count the number of "lifelong sweethearts" in your life on whom you wasted so many thoughts? Lifelong sweethearts with whom nothing worked out or even started. Or how many times did you “sell the bear`s skin before one has caught the bear? Or how did you build a career growth plan or a business that went bankrupt? If a person lives a full life, he always has a story of a big collapse in any sphere. Thoughts about a particular event or person, in most cases, are always brighter than reality. Therefore, disappointments and destructions of illusion are enough. This is nothing but a defensive reaction to the habitat. Even pessimists tend to dream. It seems to me that this is life: to be charmed with something - to look to the stars - to be disappointed. Therefore, human nature will never stop dreaming of something pleasant, even if it never comes true. The main thing is not to get stuck in endless hopes and fantasies without enjoying real life. I wonder to hear my blog readers’ opinion: is the loss of illusions a benefit or a loss?
