Hello all and THX for reading. I will try and keep my thumbs from making too many mistakes this blog post ;) I recently met someone here that seems really interesting to me. The only problem is that she is younger than i am by quite a few years(almost 20 in fact). I read every day how the ladies here don't worry about age or appearance when in fact they are human and so age and appearance especially are a big deal. Chemically we must all be compatible. My thoughts on age are evolving i think. At first a 20 year age difference really scared me, but now as i go on i am beginning to see things from a different point of view. My ex wife is 5 years younger than i am. But 10 or 15 or 20? Hmm...let's think for a moment. Early in my life i was a smart@$$ and had a firm opinion on just how right i was and i was eager to prove myself. Recently in chat i asked a lady here for a very small but important thing to me. I ask that anyone writing to me be prepared to show me their eyes and face in a video chat. I don't need to see lingerie or nudity. Those are adult things for adults in private. I do however need to see the woman i am talking to for a few reasons. Here they are. #1. Some time ago someone figured out that it's easy to fool men with open hearts and full wallets. Well what happened next? Hundreds of fake profiles flooded sites like these. Video loops became popular and began to take the place of real women. #2. Seeing the person i am chatting with, or seeing her home or families is important to establish trust. Without seeing a woman we would rely on photos of women made by professionals. I want to see you when you are just awake or going to bed or at work. All these things help shorten the real distances between us all. #3. Did you know that many security firms use professionals to study a particular persons "Microexpression's." These little things like the squinting of your eyes or a twitch on the side of your mouth are all on a subconscious level. That means we don't even know we are doing it. The human face is capable of covering a lie but then again the human eye is capable of spotting these small "tells" or clues in the facial expressions of the person we are studying. I asked everyone to read my profile and understand i will ask right away to see someone's eyes. This is something that i personally see as a non-starter. That means we can't get past step # 2 without first taking care of what we both need to feel comfortable. For me i need to see your face. I need a response, not just a hello dear or a how are you but more like a "can you wave at me?" Or perhaps a "can you touch the tip of your nose for me?" This is such a small thing to do....such a tiny thing to help build trust. I will gladly do whatever you need to help build trust. If we can't do these small things then we can't continue. For some odd reason i still get letters from ladies here that either don't bother to read my profile or don't care that i absolutely need to see the woman i am talking to. Again i have seen enough of your photos so i don't need to see your body. We men here just want to see who you are not what is under your dress! For some that are younger here it seems to be a game. It's as if they cannot read the age range that i seek. Further, it seems that it's a game of chess. If she let's me see her in chat then i somehow have to prove to her that i am coming to see her. This video chat is here for a reason...to provide another level of trust and yes, for some, intimacy. A woman that is 29 VS 24 is a big difference. I remember how old i felt VS how old i actually was. At 29 i was getting to the point where i wanted a family and i knew that i would stay and work through the issues that arise between men and women. Why? Because my days of storming out of the room and never looking back are over! The days of me staying and working through the problems arrived when i was near 30. It was like a slap in the face to wake me up and tell me "grow up, reality is here!" Reality is that we work a problem and fix it. We admit we are wrong when we are wrong and YES, even when we are right! Anything to get over the immediate problem if it's not that big and to move on to life and love. In order for me to trust someone younger(big-time younger) i would have to see her life and see her reality. That, often would help build trust. This topic leads me to my final point. Why hide here? No one here can convince me that they don't have access to a smart phone or, access to a laptop with a camera. Ladies, many of your pics indeed have you dressed in a nice bikini while holding a.......guess....SMART PHONE! I have been to your countries and i know that cell phones work there just like in the USA. If you are on chatting with me then you can turn on the camera. I know it's free for you to do this according to the administration here. I am told it's totally free for you to use that function on the website. Why hide such rare beautiful faces? Open your eyes and see that men are visual animals. We want to see who we are talking to. We want to imagine ourselves right there next to you. If we cannot do this then it's a non starter. With all the mistrust on sites like this we are left with trusting our eyes. If our eyes see it then they believe it. It can only help build trust! It can only benefit you in the long run. Imagine ladies....you come to the site and your future partner is here and this site is the only vessel by which we can see your smiling faces! Imagine that us seeing you in the virtual world is the push from behind that helps us plan a trip, hop on a plane, and bring a ring to propose marriage when we come to see you! Without this i think that many here are living an elaborate illusion. For you, the special lady reading this, just turn on your cam and carry yourself in a respectful way. A real man won't ask to see your body first...because first he will want to get to know about you as a person. WOW...a brilliant idea just popped into my mind.
