December is like a volcanic eruption! Many holidays, many emotions, lots of surprises, funny photos, delicious food, snow, miracles, Santa, St Nicholas, fireplace - it's a lava of happiness! I am very lucky, because my birthday is December the 15th. So I start celebrating since my bday until the Old New Year. Have you ever heard about such a holiday? It's a New years night according to the old calendar. People are still celebrating that! So dear men, if you are going to marry Ukrainian woman, get ready... We have so many holidays in winter! We celebrate St Nicholas Day on the 18th of Dec. When you wake up, you find candies and surprises under the pillow. It's in the case if you act good during the whole year. But if you misbehaved, you will get a wooden stick to get punished! I think it's a funny holiday)). Also, we really appreciate such holidays as New Years and Xmas. Xmas is a family holiday, all relatives gather to have a dinner together. By the way, we cook 12 dishes for Xmas Eve, according to the ancient Ukrainian tradition. New Years' Night is for partying, dancing and meeting friends. But some Ukrainians prefer to celebrate with their families. Oh, let me notify you that we put presents for New Years, not Xmas. Unfortunately, we don't kiss under the mistletoe and we don't have Santa. But we kiss under any tree and we have Uncle Frost!)) I hope you liked my story, and now you are closer to Ukrainian love. Our women are good housewives, they always cook lots of dishes, they get dressed for each holiday and they know how to surprise their beloved ones! And foreign men will see that all Ukrainian women look like Snegurochkas (Santa's young assistant) I am sure that any foreigner would enjoy winter holidays in Ukraine.)))
