Hello ladies, I need some help... :) Through friends and the Internet (and this site) I have met some amazing ladies in Ukraine and Russia but I keep falling into a pattern and I need some help to change. Here is the pattern that I keep falling into: it starts by us both liking each others profile and then sending some letters, then we chat for a bit and then we decide to meet. The first meeting is awkward for both of us, but fun. We have a nice meal, maybe go bowling, maybe see an interesting and historical site or two. The second date is maybe more interesting as we have some feelings for each other and both of us start to come out of our shells. Maybe we go visit karaoke or go to a spa. Next I head back to Tbilisi and you stay back at home. But then 'this' happens every time - we just kind of stop communicating... maybe you decide you are not really ready for serious steps, or I decide that I am not crazy about you, you decide that you want to stay in your country, in your hometown and I cannot leave Tbilisi to live (not yet anyway..). We stop communicating and I head back online and then the pattern repeats. It is not difficult to start the conversation on these sites. Most of the ladies are usually pretty responsive and friendly. I have never once been part of a scam (thank goodness!). I tend to believe that the people on both sides of the screen are real, but I just keep meeting the ladies who are more interested in chatting, or in having a nice meal or two but not taking any serious steps towards building an actual relationship. For sure I am at fault too, still, this pattern is really getting frustrating. I am happy to meet and communicate with interesting and amazing ladies, but my real goal here is a serious relationship and marriage. So I have changed up my profile, added some recent pictures and made some other changes as well. I will not chat online anymore; its only letters for me until we decide to meet. I will not send gifts until we meet in person and I will only communicate with ladies who speak English well enough to communicate directly. I won't meet with a translator anymore... I am also much more upfront with who I am looking for - please check out my profile to learn more. You have to want to leave your country, you have to be ok with living in Tbilisi, Georgia - possibly living together even before getting married. You have to want marriage, children and family...you need to be willing to leave your job, your friends, your city and country..... you have to want to be with me and to build a new life together, and I mean want to work towards these things and work together. I understand that I am asking for a lot, but still, I am pretty sure that the woman of my dreams is here somewhere, so I will keep trying to find her. Maybe you can help me to change my pattern and we both can leave this site together.
