What thoughts does come to your mind if you hear a “family” word? I guess you imagine a happy man and woman. There are many kids around them. They are all laughing and having fun. You imagine smiles on their faces and you feel that the biggest treasure this family has is pure love. I am a family-oriented woman and I want to build my own family in the future but I also think that we should not forget our roots. What do you know about your genealogical tree? Do you know much about your grandfather? What about great grandfather? I believe that it’s necessary to have info about your family members. In this case, you will know where you came from and it will help you to realize who you really are. There was a lot of nice woman in my family tree. All info I gathered by myself. I asked my mom and my grandmother to tell me more about our family and they shared info with me. Why did I decide to know more about my family? I will tell you. I have a thing which is really important to me. Its barrette of my great grandmother. She gave this thing to my grandmother, then grandmother gave it to my mother and my mom gave it to me on my birthday. She asked me not to lose this thing because it's a very important thing in our family. I will give it to my daughter if I will have her in the future. Having this thing brought lots of questions to me. I decided to gather info about my family and I was really impressed by the things which I found. There were no divorces in my family at all. All women were happy because they found good husbands. All the women in my family were hard working. For example, my great grandmother worked in a hospital. My grandmother worked in a school for the whole life and was one of the best teachers in her region. My mom is self-employed and she is very happy with my dad. Women of my family transmitted family values to their kids. And I want to say that family is the most important thing to me. Some say that the experience of our ancestors has an influence on our life. I believe in it! Looking at the history of my family I may say that I will be an active and family-oriented woman who will have a happy marriage. But I will never forget my roots and past of my family. It will be great if you will not forget about your roots too.
