Think for yourself how clearly they fit into the attitude towards women that has developed now! Oh lust, debauchery and allusions to sexuality wherever you seek your true love, am I right? But what about the classics we were told at school? About princes and princesses, about glorious feats and admiration of a woman, not as an object of passion, but as a beautiful flower?
