How was a hunt? Did you bring some meat for dinner? I guess men were asked this type of questions many years ago. A woman is physically weaker than a man so it was normal if a man went hunting and the woman waited for him at home. I guess there were women who liked to go hunting but I am sure that there were not many of them. Time is a changeable thing. It flows like a river and we even do not notice many changes. Women had more and more possibilities to earn money. And what do we have now? A woman may find a good job and to become a provider of the family. Oh, and I did not say something about the financial crisis. As you know it may come unexpectedly. Such a thing happened before and lots of people lost a job. If a man lost a job then a woman may become main provider of the family. It happened to many of my friends before. It was interesting to listen to things they said about it. It seems that a lot of men don’t like the fact of a woman becoming the main provider. I guess it’s something in a man’s blood. Something from old times tells them that he should earn more than a woman. If he earn more then he feels more confident, feel like a man. But I also know that some men don’t mind woman to earn more. If you ask a woman then there are good chances to hear that she want a man to earn more because a man should stay a man always. Can we say that she listens to the voice of her blood too? I don’t know. Maybe it’s a tradition which was transmitted by generations make her think this way. In my opinion, it does not matter who earns more. I can tell that I have a modern way of thinking on this subject. Money which both partners earn should be spent to make life better. That’s the most important thing.
