Folks, I really think this shite about who earns more is all bull. Who really cares, I mean, Really, so what!? So many things control who gets what job and what each can make. If my lady makes more than I do, so what? I don't feel threatened or ashamed in the least. I know who I am and what I'm capable of, so I'm not going to bother with it! And why should I? In my family, there'll be no contest about money at all. First, we're a family, so it's all for One,... the One being the family. We all will have what we need and the rest of it will be parceled out for various other items. The 'extra money', a misnomer anyway, can be saved for taxes, vacation, school clothes, work clothes, make-up, beautician, cinema, my airplane, and so on. There was no extra money. Silly idea)! Even now, I pay my bills and save the little left over for my next trip to Ukraine. The most important thing is that we discuss where the money will go. I pay certain bills, she pays certain bills and we both have so much for an emergency fund we keep with us at all times, for safety's sake. My lady will earn her own money and use it as I will mine, for both of us. When the family needs are met, we have earned enough and the rest of hers is hers, while mine is also mine. If she needs part of mine, it is there for her to ask for. The money has done what it is supposed to do and that's all that matters...the family is safe and solvent and will stay that way. So, to get back to the main question... It doesn't really matter who earns more. We're both normal, loving adults and we take care of each other and our family. Isn't that the whole purpose of having a family, for Love, not money? Don't let the question of who makes the most mean anything at all in the great scheme of things. It's not going to ever effect your masculinity or femininity, so to worry about it is useless. The worry isn't going help you earn more and it can make your life miserable. Don't let anything so trite effect your love or relationships. Life is too short; Enjoy it, every moment of it! I wish you happiness. Ray!
