Unfortunately, people of my age cannot listen and hear other close or even not close people. Most often, people are puzzled by their problems. They don’t care what happens to you and how you feel today. And this is the problem of our society, I think. Parenting, modern technology, gadgets - that's what changed people's understanding. I remember my childhood. We ran along the street with the guys, played different games. We played classics, erasers, hide and seek, skipping rope, robbers of the Cossacks, school, hospital and much more. We could not even think that it is better to stay at home, watch TV or play at the computer. It was not interesting to us. Now I am surprised by the current generation. Why am I talking about this? Today I was invited by my old friend, or rather even a classmate to visit. She has a great family, a husband, whose son is 5 years old. But there is one "but"... and I, as a person with a higher psychological education, could not pay attention to this. The boy is 5 years old, it is difficult for him to talk, and most importantly, this child does not disconnect from the phone and tablet. He has no other interests besides watching a video or playing a game on a tablet. He does not know what friends are. I was so surprised .. What was there to hide, I was horrified. I am shocked by what I saw. For my part, I tried to tell my friend that this is wrong, and that a child at the age of 5 should already speak in coherent sentences, build stories. I tried to explain to her what she and her husband were forming in him, as they say in psychology: "Learned helplessness." The child is 5 years old, parents feed him with a spoon, dress him and everything else... I wanted to share my thoughts.. I hope I did not load you too much. What do you think about it?
