What does age, race or religion have to do with love?
id: 300082

I'm a 54 year old man and in my life I have been witness to so many stereotypes about what love should be. What is and is not acceptable about a relationship. Who gave anyone the right to dictate, voice an opinion about or otherwise put their nose into someone elses relationship? Frankly it is nobody's business but the two people in love! This world is going to hell fast and we simply don't need to be ridiculed, pressured or told our relationships are not acceptable! If a 29 year old woman wants to love and be with a 54 year old man it is her choice and her right to do so. Same is true of the reverse. Age, race, religion or skin color are not any part of love. We are all human and can love who we choose. Society seems to think they can say what is and is not acceptable and be arrogant enough to think we should listen. I for one have a few unkind words for those who even remotely think they can give their disillusioned and misguided opinions about my personal life and that of my 29 year old fiance. Sad part of it all is these bigots can't even manage their own relationships or personal lives and then want to talk about mine? This site gave me a golden opportunity to find a woman who was truly looking for love. Not once has my lady judged me or given me a single reason to doubt her. I couldn't find this in any woman I ever dated or was involved with in my own country. We are not ashamed of our age difference and it is very acceptable in a Slavic country for a younger woman to date, marry or be with an older man. I wish other people would see love has no boundaries, age limits, and does not see color or race. We suffer enough in this world and petty things like this are not needed. If we are happy with our relationship, happy in life and are in love then we chose to be here so let it be.
