How long is it? How long will it last? One more week? Or a year? Or maybe all my life? Suddenly my life will be as gray and cold as this evening? Not! I do not want to believe it! It will not be so, no. Everything will be completely different. changes always come, nothing in this world is permanent, everything flows, changes. Even this worthless evening will soon be replaced at night. The sun will set, its golden crown will be hidden behind the mysterious veil of the horizon. the moon will appear in the sky with its silver radiance, accompanied by many stars. They will cover a gloomy, black sky, illuminate it with numerous lights. And then they will look at the Earth, and as if they will smile. Heat will come from them. how many warm, brilliant, "smiling", clear stars in the sky! And I will look at them, at the beauty of this beautiful night sky, and forget about my loneliness. Forget for a while. And I would like to forget about him forever! but maybe someday my life will change? And in some distant, a bit similar to this one, will friends and family surround me in the evening? Friends have always been associated with stars for me. maybe because light emanates from them, like from stars? Or maybe because they are now as far from me as the stars twinkling in the sky? or maybe just without them my life is not brighter and not brighter than the gloomy night sky, on which there is not a single star? But you can reach all the stars, even the farthest. The question is not in distance, but in time. how long do I have to wait for friends on my life journey or maybe even love? Will I ever be happy? this is known to God alone, because a person could never predict what awaits him in hundredths of a second, not to mention years, tens of years. But there is happiness! It simply cannot exist! I know this and I believe in it sacredly. it is somewhere far away, and it is unknown when I get to it, but this happiness exists! And let the path to it be as long as eternity, as obscure as the glare of the lunar path on the sea surface, as vast as the horizon, but I am not afraid to step on it. and not only step, but walk it from beginning to end! And become happy! Unless, of course, I deserve it. And this is just another evening of emptiness. There were a lot of them in my life. And I don’t know how many more there will be. but I hope that some of them will sooner or later become the last chapter of the story entitled "Loneliness" .
