Moldova is one of the few countries where Christmas is officially celebrated on December 25th and January 7th. Traditional Christmas table in Moldova is decorated with 12 dishes. In Ukraine, the symbol of this holiday is also a tree decorated with a star at the top. Various sweets are hung on the tree branches for children, and gifts are placed under the tree.
